Kentucky ADR Organizations & Service Providers

Here for your benefit are links to the preeminent ADR organizations, agencies and companies involved in mediation/arbitration within the State of Kentucky.

The Academy has worked cooperatively with various bodies to ensure that only the most experienced professionals are included in our member roster. Note though that there are no formal certification requirements for the private practice of mediation and arbitration in Kentucky.

Court ADR Programs

Kentucky Court of Justice - Office of Mediation

The Kentucky Court of Justice oversees mediation or arbitration as applied through the state's courts. The Court also maintains a roster of "state certified" mediators, though the bar for entry to this is considerably lower than for membership to NADN. For more information, click here.

Collegial Bar Associations

ADR Section, Kentucky Bar Association

Kentucky has a Bar section devoted to the practice of Alternative Dispute Resolution. The section aims to promote the exchange of ideas in matters relating to mediation, and further the wider adoption of ADR within the Kentucky legal community. For more info, visit the Kentucky Bar website.

Formed in 2000 by Judge Thomas Knopf, Retired Judges & Associates Mediation & Arbitration Services Inc., now has ten judges & associates available for mediations and arbitrations throughout Kentucky.
