Practicing mediator for the past eleven years, beginning first for several years as a full-time mediator for the Franklin Circuit Court, Frankfort, KY, resolving cases ranging from dog bites, bar fights, other torts, contract, employment, medical malpractice, property disputes to the rehabilitation of a failed self-insurer with losses in excess of $75 million.

Thereafter practicing as a private mediator, at the same time engaged as a part-time mediation and litigation consultant for a property and causality insurance carrier (2010-2015), assisting in negotiation planning and attending mediations state-wide as well as arranging mediation training for carrier’s defense attorneys.

For the year of 2016, mediation services include serving as Franklin Circuit Court appointed special master commissioner for a class action involving the medical providers in Kentucky, state-wide, and the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, Department of Medicaid Services, resolving the over-payment and under payment of millions of Medicaid reimbursements dollars.

Also arranged and moderated the Section’s day-long CLE program “Making Mediators: A Strategy and Skills Workshop for Neutrals”.
